Great campground, definitely a subconscious gem. It's nearly 15 minutes from the nearest boondocks. The rustic camping ground is directly on the Tennessee river.
The main campground (Happy Hollow) is separated and by itself. There is l/thirty/110 electrical, water hookups, and a dumping station on the mode out.

My married woman and I stayed at this campground for iii days. It was clean and spacious with great views of Kentucky Lake. The just minor complaint was that nosotros collection through the chief campground which was beingness renovated, and it was difficult to observe the lakeside military camp sites.

Do NOT follow your gps!!! Go to Camden then follow the country park signs (Hwy 191) 8 plus miles to the park. Not the biggest park, but fairly nice spaced sites, mostly level with electric & water. Lots of mature trees. Spotty if at all Verizon, ATT not at all. BUT free wifi. Check in at the…

Directions
Take Exit 126 on I-xl and travel northward on Hwy. 641 for 15 miles to Camden. Turn correct on Highway 70 East (do non take the 70 By-pass) at the traffic signal. Follow the signs to the park forth Hwy 191 N.
